Sun Glitters - "Grow Up Like A Beautiful Flower"
Sun Glitters' music has been popping up in all the right places as a result of his excellent Everything Could Be Fine EP. Luxembourg artist Victor Ferreira has also been uploading new Sun Glitters songs to his SoundCloud at a pretty decent clip. "Grow Up Like A Beautiful Flower" is set to be included on a benefit compilation for Japan. Its contemplative key tones, smooth guitar textures and crackling, fuzzy background noises recall Will Wiesenfeld's work as both Baths and Geotic. Great stuff. For more new songs, follow Sun Glitters on SoundCloud; buy the Everything Could Be Fine EP at bandcamp.

Com Truise X RxRy
All-time Casket Crash Vigil favorite RxRy just remixed red-hot synth wizard Com Truise, turning the blistered synth pop of "Sundriped" into a blissed-out beauty that shimmers on and on. The resulting sound is the aural equivalent of white hot sun reflecting off the metallic wing of an air-bound jet. Listen to RxRy's "Eat Suun" remix and Com Truise's original below. Both artists have full-lengths due this spring.

New Waskerley Way - "Hyper Hazard"
Waskerley Way is readying his full-length debut, Waterfall, for release on Wonder Beard Tapes. In the meantime, you can make a donation to download the Ghost Cat single, which features two tracks from the upcoming album, over at his bandcamp. I was blown away by B-side "Hyper Hazard," with its soaring, swirling synthesizers and intensely building beat pattern. More info on the Waterfall cassette as soon as it's made available.

Hips Like Cinderella - all the girls i know all of them EP
Jheri Evans of Get Off The Coast recently posted "it's what ev" from Hips Like Cinderella and it pretty much swept me off my feet like a knight in shining armor might do to a Disney princess. The song is basically the ghost of John Lennon issuing imperceptible echoes as lyrics over some seriously bent-to-shit, buzz-saw guitar riffs. I immediately went to Hips Like Cinderella's bandcamp to grab a free download of the all the girls i know all of them EP, which I seriously recommend you do as well. The whole EP is great, and I was equally struck by the dizzying dirge that is "haunted thoughts of you." That song sounds like Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark covering ivansxtc, with its back-of-the-throat New Wave vocals sung on top of a slow-dance, shoe-gaze song structure. Hips Like Cinderella, highly recommended.

Waskerley Way - Energy Legs EP
Pictured above is Waskerley Way, a bike path in the town of Consett in County Durham, England. It is also the musical moniker of one Mikey—formerly of Consett, now of Newcastle—who rode his bike through Waskerley Way as a child. Mikey’s nostalgia for a childhood spent cruising makes its way into his dreamy synth pop, though his music soars more than it cruises. His new Energy Legs EP is as hazy and half-remembered as it is shimmery and sparkly, like a hash pipe jaunt across fresh snow on a moon-lit path. Listening to it, I can’t help but think of a child cruising on a bicycle with Falcor flying overhead.
Grab title track “Energy Legs” and "Gâteau" below; support the artist by buying the EP for ₤3 (less than $5) here.
